Child & Youth Care Worker – Community & In-Home Respite

Agape Residential Care Foundation is seeking reliable and professional Child & Youth Care Workers to provide structured in-home and community-based respite support for children and youth of all abilities.

Position Type: Casual / Part-Time (with opportunity for growth)
Service Areas: Edmonton, Parkland County, Onoway, and surrounding communities
Responsibilities
Provide in-home and community respite support
Supervise and engage children and youth in structured activities
Support behavioural and developmental goals
Maintain professional communication with families
Ensure safety and follow agency policies at all times
Transport clients to community activities as required
Required Qualifications:
NVCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) Certification
Experience working with Child Intervention or high-needs families
Experience supporting children and youth (disability support experience is an asset)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Reliable vehicle and willingness to commute within Edmonton, Parkland County, Onoway, and surrounding areas
Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
Strong reliability, punctuality, and professional work ethic
Applicants must be dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in family homes and community settings.
